If you've been staying updated on TIMEMORE, you're likely aware of their newly introduced range of coffee grinders, meticulously crafted to enhance performance and provide excellent value for your money. If you're considering getting one, we've put together a straightforward guide to simplify the new C3 collection for you!
While the new range of grinders might seem a bit daunting, don't worry – we're here to make it simple. We’ve provided a table showcasing what features each grinders has. If you would like a greater description of each grinder, continue reading below.

Timemore Chestnut Grinder Comparison

The new C3 grinders have an entirely new burr set compared to what was used in the TIMEMORE C2 hand grinders. This new burr was actually developed specifically for TIMEMORE’s premium grinder, the TIMEMORE Chestnut X, but it was made smaller and built into the new premium C3 Grinder. The TIMEMORE Spike-to-Cut (S2C 660) burr set also performs consistently for both brewing and espresso. It can handle medium to coarse grinding for percolation and immersion and the fine grind consistency desired for espresso, making them true, dual-purpose burrs.
The C3 hand grinders also have more refined details compared to the C2. The dual-bearing stabilization in the C3 utilizes a reliable spring mechanism to lock the inner burr into position, and ball bearings to hold the grind shaft in place, to ensure you're not losing even a little bit of grind quality. The well-designed handle connection gives this grinder an exceptionally precise grind and a smooth turning handle with every rotation. Lastly, the new and improved grounds bin is made from aluminum for greater durability and a static free grinding experience.
The basic C3 called the TIMEMORE Chestnut C3 Grinder does have a few plastic elements in the internal body as well as the handle cap to make this grinder lightweight and to keep costs down. You can purchase the TIMEMORE Chestnut C3s Grinder which has a fully metal body and if you’re looking for a more portable option then the TIMEMORE Chestnut C3s PRO Grinder has a foldable handle to keep it compact for travel. For those that want all the features with a larger capacity, the  TIMEMORE Chestnut C3s MAX Grinder has everything the C3s Pro has, but with a larger capacity at 30g.
Lastly, if you want more control in grinding your espresso, the TIMEMORE Chestnut C3 ESP Grinder gives you 30 clicks per rotation and 0.0233mm per click on the internal dial, ensuring you have 100% precision control of fine and coarse grinding. And, if you want to have a more portable version of this grinder, the TIMEMORE Chestnut C3 ESP PRO Grinder comes with a foldable handle.
What TIMEMORE never fails to achieve is creating beautiful, affordable, and high performance grinders accessible to a large market. Our team has personally tested these grinders, and we know for a fact that all of them are amazing. It all comes down to the features that you want when choosing your new C3.
