Roasti - Kenya Rungeto

The Karimikui factory, situated at a high altitude in an area traditionally known for tea cultivation, is part of the Rungeto FCS cooperative, renowned for producing exceptional Kenyan coffees. Each year, hundreds of smallholder farmers deliver ripe cherries to the station, where they undergo meticulous manual sorting and processing before fermentation and washing in clean channels. Through precise processing methods and the nutrient-rich soil of the region, the resulting coffee boasts a remarkably sweet and intense flavor profile, characterized by notes of black currant and sweet citrus, ensuring consistent high performance annually.
