Through initiatives promoting home ownership, such as providing bonuses and assistance with loan applications, over 96% of the farm's workers are now homeowners. Beyond its social impact, Aquiares is a leader in sustainable coffee farming, employing holistic ecological principles, planting shade trees, dedicating land to conservation, and achieving Carbon-Neutral certification, while also spearheading research and development in coffee cultivation, including the creation of new hybrid varieties like the Centroamericano, which offers a diverse flavor profile across different processing methods, akin to observing varying shades of the same color palette.
